WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE IF I ORDER NOW?

As all items are handmade in the UK to order, allow 1-14 working days (not weekends) starting after the date of purchase for your order to arrive on standard shipping for UK orders.  Please allow 1-20 working days for international orders.

If you need your order sooner please chose 'Rush my order' when you check out. This means that your order will be prioritised, and shipped the NEXT WORKING DAY(up to 1-3 working days for UK, 10 days for International). This service is £9.99 for UK customers, and £14.99 for International mail(Outside UK)

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

If you are a UK customer your order will be sent via ;
Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class (Reference number provided, so you can get delivery confirmation, 1-3 working days) £4.99
If you are an international customer(outside the UK) your order will be shipped via 
Royal Mail international tracked & signed for service(comes with tracking number 5-14 working days) 🌍 £9.99

MY ORDER HASN'T ARRIVED. WHAT DO I DO?

The reference number provided with your order will give you an order update. You will get an email after your item has been dispatched with these details. You can track your item here:

It is Royal Mails responsibility to deliver your items, so it is best to contact them directly if your order has not arrived, as we cannot recall a shipment or change its delivery path once marked as dispatched.

We can offer some extra advice to help you locate your parcel!

  • Check that all the delivery details you provided us are correct. Unfortunately we cannot change order details after the order has been shipped.
  • Contact friends / family / neighbours to check if your item has arrived without your knowledge. Especially if you live in shared accommodation or student halls, your parcel may be left with someone else and they may have forgotten to let you know!
  • Visit your local parcel sorting office(where you'd go if you got a red delivery card from Royal Mail) as often parcels can be left there without the red card.

If you have tried all these steps, you can request the postage receipt from us at which you will be able to use this information to put in a claim with Royal Mail:

*Please remember that items are not our responsibility once dispatched. After shipping it is Royal Mail's responsibility to get your parcel to you. We get proof of postage for every order and your reference number will let you know if the item has arrived*

I HAVE RECEIVED THE WRONG ORDER / MY ORDER IS FAULTY

Please email us immediately explaining the issue to shimmyshineclothing@outlook.com. This must be done as soon as possible to ensure any replacements do not go out of stock. Please provide your order number and photographic evidence in the email to speed up the process.

 

I WANT TO RETURN MY ITEM?

Email us only please - NO DMS

It is your right to return items within 14 working days if they are not suitable for you.  Your return will be processed the next working day of us receiving the item. Please email us at shimmyshineclothing@outlook.com to arrange a return and we will send you a form. Items must be in an unworn and saleable condition, with all original tags, packaging and labels.

If the item does not meet these conditions the return will not be processed. 

We are more than happy to exchange items for other products providing that they are in stock. Please email us as soon as possible so we can check the item you want to exchange for is in stock.

We understand it can be frustrating if there is something wrong with your order, but we are only a super small business doing the best we can. Please be kind.

WHO MADE MY CLOTHES? WHERE HAVE THEY COME FROM?

We did! All items are ethically handmade, from designing the style, cutting the fabric to sewing to packing in our small Devon Studio in Exeter. We are a small team of 4 girls under the age of 25, with a passion to make unique and bold fashion accessible and affordable to everyone, no matter your dress size or budget.

We try our best to source all of our fabrics and equipment from UK suppliers and local businesses to support our economy and the community.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS? 

Unfortunately we cannot do custom orders at this time due to the high volume of orders we receive on a daily basis. Everything we have available will be listed on the website, but if you have any ideas we always love to hear it!
